Sue Godt is working as Senior Programme Specialist with the International Development Research Centre’s Maternal and Child Health programme and is based in IDRC’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya.

For over three decades, she has drawn on her expertise in institutional capacity strengthening, partnership building, strategic programme design and learning-based programming to support change at community, national and regional levels across sub-Saharan Africa.

Sue has worked closely with government, multilateral, donor, research and civil society stakeholders to improve community, national and women’s development.

In addition to her work, Sue is currently pursuing a doctorate in public policy and practice. Her interest is in catalyzing equitable relationships amongst development actors to pursue change.
