Dr. Lucy L. Yevoo is a sociologist who now specializes in medical anthropology. Her work over the years has focused on improving the quality of maternal and newborn health care in Ghana. Having worked with the Dodowa Health Research Centre for years, she has gained rich and extensive knowledge, skills and experience in qualitative health research methods including using ethnographic methods. Her PhD study focused on healthcare providers’ clinical decision-making in the hospital and decisions pregnant women make in the course of interacting with healthcare providers.
